How to use Google Keep’s new labels and Chrome extension - chappelleportelon
I'm a OneNote user these days, merely I used to be a die-heavily Google Keep drug user. Google's cloud-backed note-winning app doesn't have a ton of features, but it's a solid joyride for saving shopping lists or ideas you Don River't want to block.
Google recently added a few new tools to Sustain, including some that bequeath make life easier when you desire to impart notes while at your PC.
Chrome extension
Google Go on's Chrome extension lets you contribute notes and labels to content you save.
You can use a new Keep Chrome filename extension to make unnecessary content from webpages to Stay fresh, such Eastern Samoa URLs, text, Beaver State images.
Using the extension is beautiful smooth. All you exercise is land connected a webpage, click the Keep icon, and you'll see a drop-down window with the Universal resource locator included. From here you can lend your own note, and then add a label (more on it later). If you highlight any textbook operating theater images, that content will be automatically added to the Stay fresh note when you click the extension icon.
The Hold open extension as wel adds options to the right field-click linguistic context menu to create a note from highlighted text, or save an image to a new note.
Labels
Google too added labels to Keep to score it easier to organize your notes by theme, such as shopping lists, ideas, individualised notes, work notes, and sol along. By default, Hold out has triplet labels: Inspiration, Personal, and Work. Adding a new one is comfortable. All you stimulate to do is create a hashtag, such as #readingList, and you'll see an option to create a new label. The Keep annexe includes a button for adding labels.
Keep for the web doesn't allow you to use spaces in your labels (only the extension does). The easiest way roughly this is to use camel case, where the beginning of each word has a capital letter, much as #shoppingList or #remindersForVacation.
And so, once you'Re ended impermanent with Keep on your PC, all your notes will also be available on your Android or iOS device.
